A large orange and black dragon laid in the dragon hatching sands caverns watching over a very large clutch and what looked like a skeleton of a dragon slep nearby. 2 young men were there also sitting off to the side talking lowly watching the 2 dragons plus the rather large clutch. This was their first clutch brought into the world on earth and it was due to hatch any time. The other riders were out on search both on earth and on Pern for the unborn dragonets.
